- Schedule: M-F 8AM to 4PM
Whats a typical day as a Heavy Equipment Operator? You will: Provide customers with consistent gypsum rock Operate and maintain Excavator, FEL, Crusher/Screener units as directed by mine management Perform daily inspection for the machinery Help identify needs to other colleagues and management Perform basic maintenance or assist mechanics. Strong mechanical aptitude or experience desired. Maintain housekeeping in the work environment all the time Complete 60 Seconds to Think, Work Permits, SMAT & EMAT audits Be willing to be cross- trained to fill in other jobs in case of absence and vacations Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and/or mining and rock handling operations required.
