(Thalle) is excited to announce an open opportunity to expand our Team Thalle is currently seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to fill multiple Heavy Equipment Operator positions for a dam project in Ladonia, Texas. Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operators (lattice boom, tower, and mobile crawler cranes) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate various types and sizes of power construction equipment such as dozers, excavators,roller compactors, front end loaders, man lifts, sky tracks, telehandlers, cranes, and skid steers . Follow all company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid other workers, equipment, potential obstructions Must be able to read grade stakes and operate equipment to cut grade. Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instructions of on-site management. Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements. Must be capable and willing to maintain/grease equipment. Must be willing to complete manual labor when not operating equipment. Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism . Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment. Minimum 3 years of construction experience. Ability to receive written or oral instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with office and field personnel. Physical Requirements: Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Work long shifts with non-standard break times. Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements. Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times. Able to work in confined or enclosed spaces Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots. Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area (1/2 mile or more). Able to Enter the cab of a vehicle that is 3.5 feet (or more) off the ground. Able to sit in the operator's seat of equipment and safely reach all pedals, switches, levers, buttons, etc. required to safely operate the equipment (if authorized for that piece of equipment). Capable of sitting in the operator's seat of equipment and have an adequate field of vision of all instruments, gauges, warning lights, as well as an acceptable field of vision out of the windows and/or mirrors (if authorized for that piece of equipment). Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
