Job Description:

Job Title: Rigger Helper Pay: $23 - $24/hr DOE Shift: Start times vary between 5am and 8am (most commonly between 6am and 7am) Monday - Friday Overtime is highly likely, with an expected workweek of 45-50 hours. Description: The Rigger Helper will support the relocation of heavy capital equipment by assisting as a spotter and operator of various machinery. Key responsibilities include: Assisting crane operators with rigging tasks for hoisting and moving large equipment. Operating machinery such as Genie Lifts, Table Lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts for material handling and inventory relocation. Ensuring all safety protocols are followed and actively participating in risk assessments. Regularly lifting up to 60 pounds and working in physically demanding environments. Collaborating with a team to ensure efficient relocation of equipment in a timely and safe manner. Job Requirements: Heavy Machine Operating Experience: Familiarity with machinery like forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment. Forklift Certification: Preferred, but not required. Construction Experience: Ideally have a general understanding of PPE use and safety-first protocols, along with experience working in an industrial or construction setting. Basic Rigging Knowledge: Ability to work as a spotter and assist crane operators in the safe movement of large equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications: In the first 6 months, Rigger Helpers will mainly work as spotters and use smaller equipment, such as Genie Lifts and forklifts.
