**Job Summary** The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a Cat. 956 machine or similar and will be responsible for the proper operation of the loader to perform associated plant duties and general dirt work operations. * Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies and guidelines
* Includes but not limited to operating loaders to move and load various roadway sub-grade materials.
* Perform general sub-grade operations
* The above listed duties may require long periods of sitting, walking, and standing.

**Required Skills & Experience**
* Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
* Physical ability to walk on uneven terrain
* Must be able to climb equipments ladder to reach the operators seat
* General operator skills
* Basic knowledge of operating CAT Loaders
* Previous experience preferred, must be willing to learn
* Other heavy equipment experience preferred: excavator, backhoe, dozer, etc.
* Valid driver license
* At least 4 years of previous heavy equipment experience
