You'll handle tasks like building grades, paving (bituminous concrete), full depth & finish road construction, and curbing, performing each task with precision. You'll work with top of the line equipment and have the chance to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. You may operate various equipment including asphalt paver, grader, milling machine vibratory roller, crawler and rubber tire excavator, backhoe, bulldozer, loader, front end loaders, and skid steer. Safety is your top priority, and you'll end each day feeling accomplished.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- 3+ years of heavy construction experience, including experience in skilled use of tools, materials, and equipment used in asphalt paving, curb and utility installation or a related field
- Experience with Pavers, Graders, or Milling Machines or a willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license; CDL B with endorsements is a plus
- Hoisting Engineer's License (1C & 2A) & DOT Medical card or the ability to get one
- OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 preferred
- Ability to pass background and drug tests, as required by federal and/or state regulations
