Keen, a Wallenius Wilhelmsen company, is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in Sanford, NC. ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard
- Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material
- Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport
- Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
- Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to; bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.
- Must have a current driver's license to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution
QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment , forklifts, overhead cranes
- Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
- Current valid driver's license
- Steel-toed boots/shoes
WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, painting, etc. Why Join Keen?
