Job DetailsJob Location Louisville - Louisville, KY Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Job Shift Day DescriptionJob Summary: The production foreman/supervisor will oversee and manage The Rebuild Center's (TRC's) project employees, ensuring project timelines are met while adhering to cost targets, safety, and quality. Job Responsibilities: Perform daily administrative and operational activities supporting the The Rebuild Center's (TRC's) project teams to include the following:
  • Willingness to travel to customers to promote & quote potential rebuild projects
  • Responsible for preparing rebuild quotes for customers adhering to company established processes and tools
  • Responsible for managing and training up to four / two-man project teams
  • Oversees the daily and weekly workflow assignments for each of the two-man teams
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for each of the two-man teams
  • Manage and assist in parts ordering, sorting, and inventory control
  • Manage and assist in hose identification, ordering, and manufacturing
  • Capable of troubleshooting project issues that arise during the rebuild process
  • Keep regional manager apprised of project scope, timeline and expected completion
  • Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety policies, and procedures
  • Ensures rebuild project maps and timelines are kept current
  • Special projects as assigned
QualificationsJob Requirements:
  • Must have at minimum a High School Diploma and some college, a 2-year technical degree, or comparable military training.
  • Prior manufacturing experience and project management certification is plus.
  • Must have 5 or more years of equipment technical experience or similar industry experience.
  • Must have experience in managing projects and people.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of heavy equipment and mechanical functions.
  • Previous experience/best practices using continuous improvement skills such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, etc. to drive improvement.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with a computer for administrative use including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and diagnostic use using manufacturer provided programs.
  • Problem solving ability, initiating follow-up, and expediting work.
  • Capable of working with limited supervision / self-starter
  • Must be capable of dealing with the various personalities and skill set levels of technicians.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be a team player, comfortable in a group setting.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background, physical, and drug screen.
