Job DescriptionPosition Title: Heavy Equipment Rental Coordinator C.N. Wood we carry the latest machines from the finest manufacturers in the industry. We are looking for a Rental Coordinator for our Woburn, MA team! Execute rental order generation, fulfillment, maintenance and return processes for multiple branches to achieve company goals. Coordinate repair and maintenance needs to ensure maximum equipment availability. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation of processes that assure the efficient administration of the rental order generation, fulfillment and return processes working with sales/rental representative, sales/rental management, transportation services and service branch managers.
- Coordination of rental fleet repair and maintenance needs to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Accommodate phone and walk-in internal/external customers to generate rental orders in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner always displaying professionalism.
- Manage rental contract generation, fulfillment and return within company compliance, insurance and credit guidelines.
- Manage recovery of freight, fuel and damage repair expense to meet or exceed company goals.
- Assure accurate inventory records, review assigned branch demand providing recommendations for equipment needs and identifying surplus equipment.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance needs with service department and ensure maximum equipment availability. Monitor rental related WIP to assure proper coding and content.
- Coordinate trucking arrangements to and from customers as well as between CN Wood store locations.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cooperates with employees of other departments and other branches.
- Accountable to the Equipment Manager for proper interpretation and fulfillment of responsibilities.
- Provide exceptional support to sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, some college or technical training preferred.
- Knowledge or background in heavy hauling, load planning, or other transportation related topics (3 years preferred).
- Knowledge of construction equipment.
- Customer service background.
- Perform duties using considerable judgment with the ability to analyze, select and apply established procedures/techniques to accomplish work assignments and position responsibilities under limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with customers, sales representatives, fellow employees and management including interaction with other company branches.
- Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize work load to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
