Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales and Leasing Representative to join our team. This role involves cultivating relationships with customers, identifying their equipment needs, and providing tailored solutions through both sales and leasing options. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of heavy equipment, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Leasing: Promote, sell, and lease a wide range of heavy equipment (construction, agricultural, industrial, etc.) to clients across various industries.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and offering customized equipment solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth assessments of client requirements to recommend the most appropriate equipment for their project needs.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, equipment technologies, and competitor activities to effectively position products in the marketplace.
  • Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations for both sales and leasing agreements, ensuring win-win solutions for the company and the customer.
  • Follow-Up and Support: Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues related to equipment usage or leasing agreements.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure the availability of equipment for both sales and leasing.
  • Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, track leasing contracts, and report on sales activity regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in heavy equipment sales, leasing, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, agricultural, or industrial equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in heavy equipment financing.
  • Familiarity with local markets and key industry players.
  • Mechanical or technical understanding of heavy equipment.
