Job DescriptionGpac is working with a long-standing heavy equipment company that is looking for Heavy Equipment Technicians! This company prides itself as a multi-generational business that invites a family-friendly atmosphere. They resolve to get your problem solved quickly and correctly, every time. The Technicians are an integral part of the company and perform diagnostics, service repairs, and perform maintenance work on all customer and/or dealer owned equipment. Heavy Equipment Technician Job Duties:
  • Diagnose, repair, or recondition heavy equipment and components
  • Maintains current knowledge of company equipment and competitive products
  • Participates in training programs offered by the company
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned
Heavy Equipment Technician Requirements:
  • Technical school training or equivalent work experience
  • Heavy equipment work experience preferred
  • Comes with their own tools
  • Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and electrical
  • Able to work as a team members
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and have good manual dexterity, including multi-limb coordination
