Job Description:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm (No weekends!)Compensation: Competitive pay, $30.00-$40.00 per hour comprehensive benefits package, bonus program, tool and boot reimbursement, and ongoing training.

Join our team as a Diesel Technician, specializing in medium-grade equipment including loaders, excavators, tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, light compactors, and chippers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance and thorough inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel equipment, with a focus on electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
  • Perform complex system rebuilds and overhauls, primarily working on compact and medium-grade equipment.
  • Troubleshoot using advanced diagnostic tools, emphasizing safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate across departments (Parts, Service, Sales, Rental) to ensure efficient operations.
  • Engage directly with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5 years in equipment service operations, with hands-on experience in diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and a detail-oriented, safety-focused mindset.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of working indoors and outdoors, lifting items over 50lbs, and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.

Work Environment:Be prepared for an active, hands-on role. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and occasionally extreme conditions. The ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers is essential.
