The Maintenance Mechanic in training will support all maintenance and facilities activities. These duties will include mechanical, lubrications, safety, engineering, and reliability functions to assist the maintenance department with increased reliability and availability of equipment. Your training will have you working Monday-Friday 7am – 3pm. This training will take 3-6 months dependent on how fast you catch on to the training. You will then move to your appropriate shift. This position works rotating 12-hour shifts. You will rotate every four weeks between 7am - 7pm and 7pm -7 am. This is the 2-2-3 shift where every other weekend is a three-day weekend. Hourly rates start at $21.91 and go up to $28.17 DEO. There is $1.50/hr. (day shift) and $2.45/hr. (night shift) shift differential when working shift work. The position will work a balance of preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance. Gives you the best of both worlds.Guaranteed 8 hours of overtime weekly.
