PNK Group as an investor finances the implementation of its projects, as a developer organizes construction, as an engineering company designs the building and as a general contractor erects multipurpose industrial buildings from large-unit blocks produced at its own plants. PNK group is looking for a star Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and longevity of our Construction fleet of heavy equipment. Responsibilities: Establish and uphold basic operational standards for units in your region. Regularly update and maintain service histories for each unit under your supervision. Maintain adequate supply of materials for each site to ensure continuity of operation without interruption. Promptly notify Management of any supply issues as needed. Request quotes for Equipment repair beyond feasible repair in house. Receive new equipment on-site, perform delivery inspections; sign off on equipment readiness, and document any issues found along with proposed action plans for resolution. Keep thorough records of the Equipment Down Time (EDT), and Anticipated Return to Service (ARTS). Perform preventative maintenance and regular inspections of equipment to proactively mitigate issues. Keep accurate inventory of service vehicle and parts on said vehicle for quarterly auditing purposes. Posses basic knowledge of equipment operation for diagnostics and testing. Proactively analyze fleet metrics to optimize service life of equipment. Request quotes on equipment transports, schedule and ensure preparedness for transport. Familiarize yourself on all fleet specific technical information and communicate findings to operators. Ensure operator logs and weekly equipment hours are regularly reported to management in a timely manner. Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with safety rules and norms. Travel between project worksites to provide equipment maintenance and repair support as needed. Qualifications: MINIMUM of 5 years of experience in Diesel mechanics and hydraulics (certifications preferred). Previous experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment in the field. MUST have own basic hand tools (A list of tools will be provided). Must have basic computer skills. Welding experience/ torch cutting. Rigging and Signaling experience preferred. OSHA 10 minimum, OSHA 30 preferred. A clean driving record (no accidents in the last 5 years). CDL Preferred. Vocational or Technical School Certification preferred, but not required.
