Hedge Fund Middle Office Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Firm s COO and CFO to strategically refine operational procedures in alignment with the Firm s business objectives.
• Oversee the execution of third-party trades across various asset classes, including equities, equity derivatives, credit derivatives, fixed income derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities.
• Daily responsibilities include monitoring trading policies and procedures, position limits, and operational controls.
• Support the entire trade flow process and address any ad hoc issues related to trade capture and risk management on a daily basis.
• Communicate proactively with the Firm s Principals, Portfolio Managers, and Strategists regarding the investment portfolio and respond to any issues raised for attention.
• Supervise OTC confirmations, daily risk reporting, and the early exercise and assignment of option positions.
• Generate nightly and weekly reports for the investment and operations teams.
• Reconcile third-party trades at the end of the day against broker recap files and automate the reconciliation process.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of applicable experience from a hedge fund, hedge fund administrator, or trading environment
• Strong product knowledge
• Excellent academic pedigree (3.5+ GPA)
