Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Pay Rate: $40 - $48 per hour

Contract Duration: January 02, 2025 - May 02, 2025

Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the rateLIFT team, supporting various business functions related to healthcare data, HEDIS, and incident management. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in healthcare data, with a focus on HEDIS and Stars metrics, and be adept at bridging communication between technical and non-technical users. This role is essential for managing enhancement requests, incidents, and documenting requirements, ensuring smooth operations during the HEDIS collection season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track reported incidents via ServiceNow.
  • Communicate with end users to resolve and troubleshoot incidents.
  • Work on assigned enhancement requests, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Collaborate with business users to refine and develop comprehensive acceptance criteria.
  • Assist report developers by clearly communicating business requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes, workflows, SOPs, and other materials.
  • Support the rateLIFT team by removing barriers and driving operational efficiency.

Team Environment:

You will work closely with a team of 4 Business Analysts, reporting directly to the manager of the rateLIFT team. This collaborative group manages the requirements, production support, and documentation for the rateLIFT application. The ideal candidate will assist in streamlining operations, focusing on enhancement requests, documentation updates, and incident management during the HEDIS collection season.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of HEDIS data and healthcare metrics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, including writing requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with tools such as Aha!, Rally, DevOps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • No professional licenses or certifications are required.
  • Healthcare data experience, specifically in Stars or HEDIS.
  • Remote position with a business casual dress code.
