This position also includes general office duties related to department record maintenance. Examples of Duties Answer the IT central help desk phone line and assist callers with technical support. Receive and inventory all technology (hardware, software, etc.) Install and configures computer equipment and systems. Upgrade and maintain hardware/software to conform to organizational standards and requirements. Provide technical support for miscellaneous hardware (printers, cell phones, thin clients, laptops, A/V Systems, etc). Perform account receivable and payable functions (AR/AP) for IT department. Assist IT staff with miscellaneous technology projects/efforts. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or Vocational degree in Information Technology. This job requires a high degree of customer service and troubleshooting skills via remote access and includes intermittent lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A+ or Network+ and one to four years related experience supporting Windows operating systems, PC hardware and Microsoft Office productivity software, basic network troubleshooting and maintenance, or equivalent. Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook. Microsoft Active Directory experience. Technical knowledge to troubleshoot: TCP/IP, VoIP and various printers and copiers. Demonstrated knowledge of basic Microsoft network concepts. Supplemental Information HOURS: Normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Full-time hours equal 40 hours per week.
