Piper Companies is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join a business consulting company. This is fully onsite in El Paso, TX with shift being Sunday to Tuesday 7am to 7pm (with 1 hour break) and Wednesday 7am to 2pm.Essential Duties of the Help Desk Technician:
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for end users at our client's site in a courteous manner.
- Perform desk-side/in-person user assistant to include software/hardware troubleshooting, upgrade, installation, and configuration.
- Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD.
- Shipping/Receiving IT equipment
- Onsite IT asset tracking and management
Qualifications of the Help Desk Technician:
- 1+ years of technical support or help desk experience.
- High school diploma required. Preferred to have Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field.
- Experience providing software, hardware, network, and computer user support
- Working knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, network cabling, wireless, and remote access practices.
Compensation for the Help Desk Technician:
- $45,000 - $50,000 (based on experience)
