Summary Description
Reporting to the CIO, the Help Desk Technician will be responsible for the smooth operation of the IT Department by helping users understand and make full use of available resources. You will also respond to users' needs and requests promptly to minimize systems related disruptions and maintain key business systems for the Company.
Responsibilities
* Resolve and monitor help desk calls, track resolution, and follow up as necessary.
* Develop and coordinate new training and support services.
* Maintain information dissemination processes including reporting, file maintenance, and intranet applications.
* Assist users and customers with troubleshooting and training on all internally supported systems platforms and applications.
* Assist in developing system and process documentation.
* Support and maintain ERP system.
* Maintain the Company phone systems, including utilizing capabilities, monitoring performance, reporting problems, and user maintenance.
* Perform, maintain and document system backups, rotation and off-site storage in conjunction with departmental disaster recovery planning.
* Assist Network Administrator in troubleshooting and repairing hardware.
* Assist in the planning, testing, implementation and training of third party and internally developed software solutions.

Qualifications
* Associates Degree in a computer related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* One to three years of computer Help Desk experience.
* Willingness to learn new technologies.
* Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time, as well as walk and climb stairs. Primarily working in an office environment, 5% warehouse/freezer/cooler environment. Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and own a reliable vehicle.
