Position SummaryThis position supports the functions of the Information Technology department by maintaining and troubleshooting the organization's network systems. This position also supports various IT projects, and the web development team.Essential Job Functions and Tasks

- Provides technical support - identifying, investigating, and resolving users' problems with computer software and hardware - for problems specific to the organization's computer network and systems.
- Organize resources so they are easy to locate
- Resolve customer issues with company products
- Answer other customer questions and offer them access to helpful resources
- Direct questions to the right department when needed
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage all desk administrative duties
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with customers and recurring user problems
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure any problems are resolved
- Monitors the assigned network, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.
- Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures or collaborating with network security staff.
- Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
- Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems.
- Collaborates with systems and network administrators to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to systems and networks.
- Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
- Maintains knowledge of technological innovations and trends.
- Performs similar or related duties as required or assigned
