Job ID: 24-04035Technical Training SpecialistWashington, DC/ HybridStarting from : $70,000/yrMUST:Experienced Technical Training SpecialistEligible for Level 3 Public Trust3+ years work experience in training and development, instructional design, teaching, technical writing or related workExperience creating teaching standard operating procedures, training guides, and how to scripts for clientsAbility to develop, teach and explain technical information to groups and create training curriculum and plansKnowledge and experience in Section 508 compliance standardsProficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe AcrobatExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to deliver excellent customer servicePositive attitude and strong people interpersonal skillsAn active CCSP certification or an HDI- CSR certification is required within 30 days of startingBachelor's Degree requiredDUTIES:Provide training and coaching to current employees to help deliver updated training for compliance purposesConduct IT training for all new hires, via one on one, classroom setting or videoconferenceTake the lead on developing and deploying training curriculum and plans to address the needs of all Division users; this will include software and hardware applications and AV equipmentHelp in developing reports that track the type of trainings and who attended (this should include the number of and types of training classes delivered, quantity of students attending each class, and the names of the trainers who delivered the training)Provide training on the litigation specific software CaseMap, TimeMap, QuickBooks, Summation, CORA (Relativity) and Trial-DirectorProvide training on various litigation topics e.g., creation and use of transcript and document databases, how to scan evidentiary documents, capturing and annotating live transcript feeds on laptops, organizing and sharing attorney work product, and displaying electronic evidence at trialMaintain and update the document repository located in the SharePoint Training Knowledgebase, which contains Best Practice Tips, how to guides, and other publication sources that provide customers with guidelines on commonly used products and processesDevelop Section 508 compliant multimedia visual aids and presentations. Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our product and the documentation requirementsThe Training Specialist shall capture and report results of training evaluations, function as the Administrator, recording learning, adding and scheduling courses, and running reports, creating and maintaining a training calendar distributed to all Division users, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in order to provide recommendations for improvementConduct general application training (Office Suites, PDF, etc.)Training curriculums created shall be approved and accommodation made for users requiring special needs addressed---------------- ------------------------ --------------------------- --------------------------*Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
