Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the safe and efficient operation of the Material Handling group.
+ Operate various equipment as assigned.
+ Perform tasks related to the use and handling of hazardous material.
+ Assist with housekeeping of work area as required.
+ Participate in scheduled training.
2. Promote accident prevention and safety standards by ensuring and maintaining proper operating standards and housekeeping in the material handling areas.
3. Participate as a member of the stations emergency response team including fire brigade (Nebraska City Station)
Qualifications
Required:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Requires a moderate to high degree of mechanical ability, the desire and ability to learn
+ Must have good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Shift work
Desired:
+ Experience in the operation of heavy equipment is desired.
+ Dozer Operation
+ Experience in or knowledge of generating station operations desirable.
