Job Description:
As the High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) and Hardness Maintenance/ Hardness Surveillance (HMHS) Systems Engineer, you will support a critical mission for an Air Force client. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the client in identifying system deficiencies and developing executable sustainment solutions that can be effectively implemented in the field. In this position, you will ensure HEMP/ HMHS compliance against a portfolio of strategic military satellite communication (MILSATCOM) systems in accordance with applicable DoD standards and instructions. You will also report protected shelters or other protected volume system test results to USSTRATCOM to maintain mission certifications, ensuring hardened critical components are at peak performance for their respective missions.
