- Assist the patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and dressing.
- Assisting the patient with exercises, ambulation, transfer activities and medications that are ordinarily self-administered.
- Take and record temperature.
- Observes and reports patient status.
- Records care provided.
- Performs activities under special circumstances after training and observation by a Registered Nurse.

- Certificate from a state sponsored homemaker/home health aide training and competence evaluation program (preferred)
- Certificate from nurse's aide training and competency evaluation program as defined in Section 19-13-D8T (A) of the Connecticut Public Health Department of Regulations. (preferred)
Salary Description $17-18/hour
