This is the modified job description:Description of the role:We are currently seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) with a current certification to join our team at At Home Services For Independent Living. This is a full-time position located in Southold, New York. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to clients in their homes with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication reminders and administration, as per the client's plan of care
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living space
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Document and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- Must have a current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification
- Prior experience as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and have a strong attention to detail
