Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced High Rise Scheduler to join our team in managing the schedule for a large-scale high-rise construction project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction scheduling and will work closely with the project management team to ensure the timely delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall project schedule for high-rise construction projects using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure that project timelines are met.
  • Monitor and track project progress, updating the schedule regularly to reflect any changes or delays.
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with the team to resolve them proactively.
  • Prepare and present regular schedule reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze critical paths, resource allocation, and dependencies to ensure the project remains on track.
  • Review and process subcontractor and vendor schedules to ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
  • Communicate any delays, risks, or issues that may impact the schedule to relevant parties.
  • Assist in coordinating project logistics, including deliveries, site access, and sequencing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with a focus on high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
