Are you a Navy nuclear electrician or have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering? There is an incredible opportunity in upstate Lowville, NY as a High Voltage Electrical Supervisor.In this role, you will provide front-line high voltage (HV) electrical equipment support to operating wind farms with our client. You will serve, with other High Voltage Operations staff and the electrical engineers in Houston, as the company's subject matter expert on all HV issues. Main accountabilities:- Provide electrical, high-voltage, collection system, and substation support to operating wind farms including constant on-call support- Provide support and feedback about electrical design, engineering, testing, and construction as requested- Support and coordinate commissioning, start-up, and initial operating activities- Optimize scheduled maintenance with available and forecasted fuel resources, weather, and reactive maintenance activities- Maintain inventory, inspection, and calibration of all tooling and equipment as required- Manage the HV spare parts inventory of the renewable power plants in the applicable zones- Perform safe switching and grounding of HV equipment, including circuit breakers, disconnect switches, power transformers, and all related components as necessary- Participate in the engineering, design, and construction review processes, including the review of collection systems, substation, and transmission line designs- Develop and implement site betterment projects, including preparation of scope documents, exhibits, budgets, schedules, and requests for proposals (RFPs)Base salary, 30% performance bonus, 6% 401k match, excellent medical, dental benefits, 3 weeks' vacation
