Job Description:
The Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Activities Attendant to join our team. The Activities Attendant will be responsible for organizing and leading a variety of recreational activities for guests of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
* Organize and lead a variety of recreational activities for guests, including but not limited to: beach volleyball, pool games, arts and crafts, and fitness classes.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner.
* Assist guests with equipment rentals and provide instruction on proper use.
* Maintain a clean and organized activity area.
* Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
* Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
* Ensure beach towels are consistently stocked up and ready for guest use at the towel hut.
* Pick up towels from the beach and laundry bins on the pool deck and indoor pool and return to laundry for washing.
* Actively assist guests on the pool deck and upsell pool cabanas.
* Ensure pool charges are posted daily and signed by guests.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior experience in a customer service role
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
