General InformationSpitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking Helpers to join our team.What Does a Week in the Life of the Helper Look Like?
- Performs any combination of the following duties to assist workers in welding; such as moving work pieces, tools and supplies, manually or by hand truck.
- Lift, move and hold or clamp work pieces to table, into jigs or into position as directed; manually or by using hoist, pry bars, wrenches, hammer and wedges.
- Clean work pieces to remove impurities such as slag, rust and grease; using wire brush, grinder or hand scraper.
- Clean and lubricate equipment.
- Practices good housekeeping skills and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies.
- Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.

- Must have verbal skills with fluency for the responsibilities assigned.

Spitzer offers competitive pay depending on education, certifications, and experience.Work Schedule Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed.
