Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Histo Technologist Supervisor to join a dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This direct hire opportunity offers a supportive work environment and the chance to lead a team of skilled histotechnicians and laboratory professionals.

Position Summary:

• As the Histo Technologist Supervisor, you will oversee the technical operations of the histology laboratory, ensuring compliance with CAP standards, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient lab operations and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise histology lab personnel and daily operations.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of histological specimens.
• Maintain laboratory compliance with CAP standards and ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Train and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Perform bench-level histology tasks as needed to support the team.
• Monitor laboratory supplies and contribute to cost analysis for new and existing tests.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Certification: Certified Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a histology laboratory. Leadership experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Additional Information:

• Location: Charlotte, NC 28203
• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00 AM - 9:30 AM /40Hours/ week
• Duration : Direct Hire
• Pay Rate: $35.28 - $44.10/hour (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
