What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet daily production goals by understanding and performing all aspects of plant operations.
  • Perform general plant maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct routine plant maintenance including greasing, checking oil levels, and shoveling under conveyors and spillage areas.
  • Operate equipment including skid loaders, plant truck.
  • Communicate current job information with contractors and drivers.

What Are We Looking For

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Solid mechanical skills to perform general maintenance.
  • Ability to operate plant equipment.
  • General knowledge of hot mix asphalt business and operation.
  • Ability to learn basic welding and torch operation.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
