- Helping the individuals with life skills such as cooking, household chores, using public transportation
- Assisting individuals in participating in activities within their community and social settings
- Providing transportation as needed to activities within the community (trips to the local library, the local park, the grocery store, or even a local sports game!)
- You will need to use your personal vehicle but we provide mile reimbursement and these trips are not a daily activity
What You Need to Succeed:
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record, required
- Clear criminal record, background checks and drug test in accordance with state requirements, required
- Must be 18 years or older
- One (1) Year of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, preferred
