DescriptionHome Billing Coordinator We are looking for a dedicated Home Billing Coordinator to join our team.   • Leads all billing including Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance Providers, and Private Residents
  • Serves as subject matter expert on Medicaid eligibility process, supporting residents, answering questions, and serving as point of contact for local Department of Social Services
  • Maintains all billing communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Serves as a resource and collaborates with multiple departments including therapy, clinical, residents services, and admissions on billing processes and questions
  • Enter daily cash receipt deposits and performs analysis of EOBs received
  • Performs daily census reconciliation
  • Updates resident accounts and assists with collections, including adjusting and resubmitting claims
  • Prepares monthly billing statements, importing charges from multiple sources
  • Supports yearly auditing process and provides documentation and reporting as needed
  • Manages software billing setup and maintains accurate rates
  • Identifies gaps in existing billing processes and policies and recommends solutions and improvements
  • Functions as the backup to the Village Billing Coordinator and other Business Office functions as identified
  • Supports the Business Office Team and greater campus community
Position Type:
  • Hours for this role are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday; this position may need to be available during emergencies or weather emergencies
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Enjoys providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience or ability to learn billing portals, online banking software, and Point Click Care
  • Desire to be flexible to meet the needs of residents and families and the greater team
  • Minimum three years experience in accounting or billing
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Business or Accounting
  • Experience with senior population and/or in the senior living industry
