We are currently seeking a highly skilled NYS LHCSA Auditor Consultant to work on projects with homecare companies, ensuring compliance and safeguarding against deficiencies that can lead to revenue loss.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of homecare agencies to ensure full compliance with NYS LHCSA regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on:
- Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP)
- Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Waiver Program
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver regulations
- Collaborate with homecare companies to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations affecting homecare services.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field (BA).
- At least 2 years of experience auditing homecare agencies in New York.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- LHCSA
- CDPAP
- NHTD Waiver regulations
- TBI Waiver regulations
- Previous experience working with the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
