S3 is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) which is an organization, owned by credit unions. We serve credit unions by supporting their operations and delivering world class service. We support the credit union members with their loans, deposits and other financial needs to achieve their goals.
The Home Equity Scheduler will be part of the talented Home Equity team. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating closings with members, credit unions, and settlement agents. This role ensures the loan file is complete with interest rate and terms. This position is key in providing members critical information for their closing and therefore has a significant impact on the member experience.

TOP JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Scheduling closings with third party notary and title company or settlement agent as needed.
* Responsible for contacting members to provide the loan terms, interest rate, disbursements and details on how the HELOC works.
* Review title and loan terms prior to contacting the member to schedule a closing.
* Update partner credit union closing calendar.
* Confirm final closing and funding terms with member.
* Update the loan origination system with confirmed closing details.
* Manage pipeline of unscheduled cleared to close HELOCs.
Other responsibilities and opportunities:
* Responsible for any required follow up on homeowner's insurance policy updates.
* Communicates with closers and processors to resolve issues or as needed.
* Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
* 1 year of experience in finance or lending preferred.
* Knowledge of loan origination system preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong customer service skills required.
* Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Ability to adapt to change.
