Job Overview:
The Home Friend will perform light housekeeping chores in the home of older adults/disabled adults.
Qualifications:
Required:
* One year experience working with older adults
Preferred:
* High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
Scheduling Requirements:
* Monday Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm
* 6 hour work day
Essential Functions:
* Calls-in when arriving at clients home Calls-out when leaving clients home
* Establishes an efficient working system to ensure a thorough and quality service delivery to clients
* Follows supervisory guidelines in all phases of the position
* Identify and reports any physical or behavioral changes in the client
* Performs specific chores services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and shopping in accordance with program guidelines
* Submits time sheets weekly for payroll
* Utilizes supervision to problem solve around issues dealing with clients
* Maintain BLS certification
