Job Summary: Abernathy Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide for immediate interview. Full-time and part-time position in the healthcare/medical field located in Reading and surrounding area's. As a Home Health Aide you will be responsible for providing quality care to our clients in their homes. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Home Health Aide will assist with daily tasks and help improve the overall well-being of our clients. Compensation & Benefits: The Home Health Aide position at Abernathy Home Care offers a competitive compensation package of $18 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.) to clients according to their individual care plans - Assist with ambulation and transfers - Administer medication as directed by a Registered Nurse - Monitor and record vital signs - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Provide light housekeeping and laundry services - Engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided - Communicate any changes or concerns regarding clients' condition to the supervising RN - Respect and maintain clients' privacy and dignity at all times Requirements:- Active certification as a Home Health Aide - Previous experience in a home care setting preferred - Ability to effectively communicate and follow written and verbal instructions - Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and bending - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening EEOC Statement: Abernathy Home Care is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at all levels.
