Perform all duties under the direct supervision of a RN, as ordered by a Primary Physician.Help patients with bath, care of mouth, skin, and hair.Helping patients in the bathroom, using diapers, or in using a bed pan.Helping patients in and out of bed, assisting with ambulation.Helping patients with prescribed exercises, which they have been taught by appropriate professional personnel.Reporting any changes in families and or patients mental or physical condition to your supervisor immediately.Personal care including making and changing beds (with or without pt in bed) and straightening up patients' personal environment.Light housekeeping: dishes, vacuuming, bedmaking, dusting, mopping, sweeping, laundry, and taking out the trash.Preparing or warming prepared foods and feeding patients during appropriate times.Asist patients in taking their medications and reporting any side effects, refusals, or adverse reactions immediately.Teaches safety measures, household routines, and skills to appropriate family members whenever necessary.Understand that supervisors and or assistive devices are available 24 hours a day for changes in patients' functional status and or condition.The Home Health Aide- Homemaker is to act as a role model for the patients and family.
