Home Health Aide:

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of an RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care
• Assist patients with self-administered medications
• Take accurate temperature, pulse, and blood pressure measurements and report abnormal results
• Assist with personal hygiene and feeding
• Help with patient toileting, mobility, exercises, and positioning
• Report changes and document pertinent information to ensure continuity of care
• Practice infection control principles to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Assist with household duties including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• At least one year experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or home health/hospice agency
