- POSITION SUMMARY
- Position Summary:
- Provides quality patient care of the patient by performing patient care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of a patient in the patient's home. Assists with loading/unloading patients to/from vehicles as necessary. Assists with providing a safe, comforting, and calm environment for the patient.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- High school graduate or GED
- Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course
- Minimum Experience
- One year nurse assisting experience preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Home Health Certification to be obtained within the first 90-days of employment
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
