Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personalized home care services in a client's home in White Lake Twp, Michigan. The HHA will work in collaboration with the client and their family to assess and provide the necessary support services to ensure the highest quality of life. This is a Part Time hourly position with a bi-weekly wage of $17 to $18 per hour.

Compensation & Benefits:

The Home Health Aide (HHA) wage is $17 to $18 per hour. This is a part time hourly position that is paid biweekly. As an employee of Interim HealthCare, you will receive an array of benefits that include health coverage, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts, and vacation days. Weekend Days, afternoons, and evenings open for those who are looking to pick up some extra shifts.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care services as patient's conditions require, including taking vital signs, bathing, and feeding.

Help patients with range of motion activities, housekeeping activities, and physical therapies as instructed by client's healthcare provider.

Assist in giving medications, monitoring vital signs, providing companionship, and other tasks as requested or needed.

Observe and report changes in client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to designated personnel.

Act in compliance with Interim HealthCare's policies, issues, and procedures.

Develop and maintain safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

High School Education or GED certificate required

Must be at least 18 years old to apply

Current valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

Ability to maintain patient information in accordance with confidentiality statements

Must meet the minimum requirements for the Michigan certified Home Health Aide

Knowledgeable about the principles of growth and development over the life span

Working understanding of safety and infection control procedures

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
