(Some rewards offered are based on position and hours worked.) Home Health Aide Responsibilities include:
- Provides housekeeping services including pet care.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, managing incontinence, etc.), while strictly observing safety and infection control precautions and respecting individual needs and preferences.
- Assists residents with tasks of daily living, telephone use, processing laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, transporting/driving to/from appointments, activities, etc.
- Assists residents in maintaining health with accurate blood pressure checks, prescribed dietary supplements, encouragement of exercise and participation in activities, and extra assistance during resident illness as directed by Supervisor.
- Provides transportation as needed for resident errands and appointments.
Requirements Home Health Aide Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license for at least the past 2 years.
- Must be comfortable working on a computer and have general computer knowledge (Ex. Outlook)
- Previous experience in geriatric care (employment, volunteer, or personal) preferred.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification preferred or obtained within six months of the date of hire.
