ComForCare Home Care is looking for Home Health Aides with some experience in Memory Care. Over 7 million Americans are living with dementia, and we are here to help, one person at a time! Qualifications:
Knowledge of memory care, or relevant work experience
Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification is preferred, or willingness to enroll in a training program within 3 months of hire
Full Physical Report and Drug Screening
2 professional reference letters–within the past 3 years
Eligible to work in the United States
Patience, empathy, and compassion is a must!
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage each unique client. Get to know your clients likes, dislikes, stories, and personality! Depending on their individual needs, you may also be asked to help with:
Dressing, grooming, and hygiene
Ambulation around the house
Encouraging exercise and fluids
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Running errands
Transportation to appointments
