The Home Health Aide will play a vital role in allowing our aging population to stay comfortably in their home. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be kind and compassionate with a desire to help people. We have day and night shifts available! The Home Health Aide will be responsible for: • Serving as a companion to clients • Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc. • Managing medication and assessing effectiveness of current medication regimen • Preparing meals • Assisting in daily household tasks as needed • Tending to personal hygiene needs • Providing bathing and dressing assistance • Assisting with patient transfer • Shopping and running errands as needed • Communicating with the clients family/friends regarding care needs • Following patient care plan The Home Health Aide will excel with: • Caregiving experience preferred • Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care preferred • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required • Proven reliability with an excellent work ethic • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance • Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills • The ability to provide care across a variety of settings • Empathy and the ability to care for the clients social, emotional, physical, and mental needs • Ability to stay calm and diffuse stressful or uncomfortable situations • An understanding of what to do in an emergency • Training in any special areas of care you provide The Home Health Aide will be rewarded with: • $14.50 + Hourly Pay, Dependent on Experience • Performance based pay increase after probate period • Incentive bonus opportunities! • Referral bonuses available! • Comprehensive benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Life insurance • Short Term Disability • Opportunity to make a difference in the community! • Opportunity to work with a company where you will be recognized for your success!
