Job Requirements: Home Health Aide (HHA) We are seeking experienced and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) who are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to our clients. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: 1. Certification and Experience • Valid HHA certification with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in home care or related settings. 2. Technology Proficiency • Tech-savvy, with the ability to support clients in using healthcare apps and digital tools effectively. 3. Client-Centered Care • Proven track record of delivering exceptional care while strictly adhering to individualized Plans of Care. 4. Appointment Management • Skilled in managing client appointments, including setting reminders and ensuring timely attendance. 5. Personal Care Assistance • Competence in assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, grooming, and other daily living activities with compassion and respect. 6. Healthcare Services and Routines • Provide basic healthcare services, including medication reminders and managing daily care routines. 7. Household Support • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment. 8. Meal Preparation • Prepare and assist with meals while ensuring clients' nutritional and dietary needs are met. 9. Companionship • Offer meaningful companionship by engaging in conversations and activities that enhance clients' mental and emotional well-being. 10. Mobility Assistance • Support clients with mobility needs, including assistance with walking, standing, or using mobility aids safely. 11. Health Monitoring • Monitor and document changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental health and promptly report concerns. 12. Transportation Assistance • Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social outings, ensuring their safety and punctuality. 13. Documentation and Reporting • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided, activities completed, and changes in client conditions in compliance with company policies. 14. Medical Equipment Proficiency • Ensure proper and safe use of medical equipment as needed. 15. Incontinence Care • Assist clients with incontinence care, including changing adult briefs, while ensuring their dignity and comfort. 16. Safety and Fall Prevention • Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents, manage environmental hazards, and promote a secure home setting. 17. Training and Development • Participate in caregiver training sessions and team meetings to continually improve care standards and skills. We will reimburse you up to $500 to be trained at an accredited HHA Training school of your choice. You would only need to provide a receipt for the training course, and work at least 150 hours for our agency before you would be eligible for the reimbursement.
