What You Will Do as a Home Health Aide

As a Stonerise home health aide, you will be responsible for observing patients, reporting/documenting these observations and care performed. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care to patients including, bathing, changing bed linens, assisting with dressing, etc.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting in feeding
  • Taking vitals such as, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
  • Assisting in ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care
  • Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as needed
  • Assisting patients in the self-administration of medications
  • Reporting on patients conditions and significant changes to the RN

Schedule PRN, Non-Exempt

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements

  • Meets training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Active CPR certification
