Job Description:
  • The Application Analyst II leads efforts to gather and analyze data, provide guidance to other staff, and make recommendations for computerized application processes, assisting with work flow and business needs. The Application Analyst II will provide guidance to other staff and work at the highest technical level to support the system in a manner consistent with a mission-critical hospital/health care environment. This role prioritizes efforts and delegates activities appropriately. The Application Analyst II participates in project planning and is responsible for communicating project timelines and giving timely project status updates on a regular basis. The Application Analyst II integrates their current knowledge of professional practice standards, as well as industry rules and regulations, ensuring that the informatics solution is in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role uses analytical experience to consult information systems end users with the overall objective of improving the use of application systems functionality, i.e., enhance work flow, optimize business processes, and identify appropriate systems solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with one year related experience or associate degree with three years related experience or five years related experience in the field required.
  • Epic certification in Home Health / Hospice or other application required.
  • Applicable technology competency required within six months of hire into the position for all technology supported; certification for application(s) based on established guidelines required.
