ABOUT THE ROLE:

Scheduler Manager of Innovative Home Services partners with the Director to lead the private duty program at our senior living community.

The IHS Scheduler Manager acts as a liaison between the agency, clients, and associates. Their primary function is to assist in the scheduling of client care, ensuring that quality service is provided, and client satisfaction met.

* Coordinating client services scheduling.

* Reviews client information to determine private duty needs and assigns appropriate personnel.

* Guides personnel to promote effective performance and delivery of quality service.

* Partners with Director for in-service and training programs, quality assurance protocol, marketing, and labor management.

* Assists with performing billing duties and payroll when needed.

* Ensures proper maintenance of client and associate records in compliance with regulation and policy.

* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

* One-year experience working with older adults or in a related health care setting preferred.

* One-year supervisory experience preferred.

* Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

* Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

* Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations.

* Basic computer proficiency.

* Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.

* Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

* Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. One year of experience in a private duty or related organization preferred.

2. High school diploma or GED required.

3. Has excellent observation and communication skills.

4. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

5. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations.

6. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

7. If providing transportation services, must hold a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

8. Has ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.

9. Must be comfortable with using computers and have basic skills with computer platforms such as Word and Excel

10. Must be extremely organized and detail oriented

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting.

2. Must be able to transport residents via wheelchair pushing up to 150 lbs. unassisted.

3. Must be able to transfer, lift, turn and position a resident weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted, or with the

assistance of one for a resident weighing over 125 lbs.

4. Must be able to reach up to a level of six feet.

5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally.

6. May be subjected to offensive odors, combative behavior and may be exposed to infectious blood and body fluids

Salary: $18-$20. Per hour based on experience plus on-call stipend
