Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand. Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and mobility support. A Homemaker Companion will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services. Monitor and report any changes in the clients' health or behavior to the supervisor. Administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare team. Engage in meaningful conversations and activites to promote mental and emothional well-being. Maintain a clean and organized living space for the clients. Requirements:High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate.Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with patients (formal training in caregiving is a plus).Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job.Genuine empathy and compassion for clients, treating them with respect and dignity.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build a rapport with clients and their families.Ability to follow care plans and adapt to varying client needs.CPR Certification.ACHA Fingerprinting.
