The Homemaker performs combined duties of dining services including cook, kitchen assistant, server and other kitchen activities as well as housekeeping and laundry.As a cook, the Homemaker will prepare household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing, maintain high quality standards and utilizing portion control using standardized recipes. Other duties include general responsibility for the kitchen and serving resident meals, snacks and nourishments.As a housekeeper, the Homemaker performs housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of household surroundings. Works with the Care Partners to assure that all housework is done in a timely and effective fashion. Assists residents with caring for their clothing, including mending, washing, sorting, ironing and folding.As a life enhancer, the Homemaker plans and facilitates activities for elders and household that involve food preparation or other activities specific to the kitchen.Requirements:PRN7:00 am to 11:00 amEvery Other WeekendHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
