Come join our team today!The HDD Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and remove waste materials.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift 80 lbs. while working outdoors in the heat and cold.
- Ensure all project work is compliant with installation standards and is being performed safely and correctly
- Promote and monitor the safety of team members
- Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures
- Clean debris, trash and hazardous materials from construction sites
- Dig trenches as instructed
- Assist in installing drill tooling and pipe
- Place traffic signs to warn traffic of construction in process
- Clean and maintain construction equipment appropriately
- Load and unload equipment from trucks
- Fill potholes to facilitate the construction process
- Ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company's protocols
- Train apprentices and new hires in construction labor work
- Use hand tools to cut and shape material as per instructions
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Required)
- Knowledge of directional drilling techniques and standards, has limited experience. (Preferred)
- Must have valid drivers license and be willing and able to obtain Class A CDL License with tanker endorsement in 6 months. (Required)
- Able to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Able to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Able to lift, push, pull, carry objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- Able to quickly move arms and legs and have excellent stamina.
